Narrow win for Sakal

 

Sakal recorded a narrow four runs win over Tarun Bharat in the ongoing SMHRC-SJAN 25th Inter-Press T20 Cricket Tournament being organised by Sports Journalists’ Association of Nagpur at Vasant Nagar ground on Thursday.
Sakal made a meagre 104 in 18 overs and then restricted Tarun Bharat at 100 for 8 in 20 overs to win the exciting match.
Pratik Vairagade scored 48 runs from 28 balls which had eight fours and a six while Avishkar Deshmukh contributed 18.
For Tarun Bharat, Rajesh Vyavhare took three wickets and Atul Shivankar took two.
In return, Tarun Bharat lost the plot as Sakal bowled some tidy spell. Mannu Bawa tried hard with his 23-ball 31 with four boundaries and one maximum while Vyavhare added 18. For the winners, Sumit Admane took three wickets and Sachin Belvalkar two. Mahesh Sarangi gave away the man of the match award to Admane.
