Mediamen’s carrom meet in April last week

Sports Journalists’ Association of Nagpur (SJAN) will be organising Carrom Tournament For Media Employees in the last week of April. The tournament has been sponsored by Tirupati Urban Co-operative Bank.The tournament will be held in two categories i.e. men’s singles and doubles. Entry fee for men’s singles will be Rs 30 and Rs 50 for doubles. Exact dates and venue will be informed soon, says a press release issued by Rahul Dixit, Secretary, SJAN.Entries can be confirmed with the sports desks of respective newspapers.Cash prizes will be given to the winner, runners-up and semi-finalists in each categories.Dainik Bhaskar’s Gendlal Vaidya won the singles title last year while The Hitavada’s Ramesh Marulkar and Kartik Lokhande reigned in the doubles.For more details interested persons can contact Tournament Convenor Nilesh Deshpande (9881243198).
