As a part of World Sports Journalists’ Day, Sports Journalists’
Association of Nagpur (SJAN) will be felicitating talented women kabaddi
players at a function to be held on Thursday (July 5) at Tilak Patrakar Bhavan
at 11 a.m.
Working president of Nagpur District Kabaddi Association
Girish Vyas, Shiv Chhatrapati award recipient sports organiser Girish
Gadge and former kabaddi player Vijaya Anekar will grace the occasion.
Those to be honoured include Dipali Banmote,
Priyanka Thakre, Sakshi Shende, Niilambari Bagde, Pooja Admane, Nikita
Korte, Vaishnavi Sarore, Chhakuli Kshirsagar, Deepa Ambade, Chakuli
Wankhede, Pinki Bhanse and Nikita Godbe. Veteran kabaddi players
Shivajirao Mohite (Maratha Lancers) and Shirpatrao Burde (Subhash
Mandal) will also be felicitated on the occasion.
