SPORTS Journalists’ Association of Nagpur (SJAN) is organising SJAN-Orange City Hospital and Research Institute (OCHRI) 15th Invitational Inter-Press Cricket Twenty20 Tournament from January 8 to 24, 2013.
Matches will be played at Dr Ambedkar College ground, Deekshabhoomi and Vasantnagar ground, informs Kishor Bagde, Secretary, SJAN, through a press release.
Nine teams, including defending champions The Hitavada, runners-up Punyanagari, Lokmat, Sakal, Times of India, Tarun Bharat, Lokshahivarta, Dainik Bhaskar and Loksatta are taking part in the event.
The event is sponsored by OCHRI. Satvik Financial Services are the co-sponsors of the event. Man of the match awards are sponsored by Gangadharrao Chinchole Smruti Seva Sansthan.
Final of the tournament will be played on January 24 at Dr Ambedkar College, Deekshabhoomi.
White balls of ‘Wisden County’ company sponsored by Amar Sports will be used in the tournament. A souvenir named ‘CricMedia’ and schedule of the tournament will be released soon.
