Stage is set for the sixth edition of carrom
tournament for media employees being organised by Sports Journalists’
Association of Nagpur (SJAN) at Tilak Patrakar Bhavan from Friday. The
tournament, sponsored by Tirupati Urban Co-operative Bank Limited, has
evoked good response.Vice-Chairman of Tirupati Bank Narayandas Ahuja
will inaugurate the tournament at 10 a.m. Former NMC Standing Committee
chairman Sandeep Joshi would be the guest of honour. Cash prizes and
trophies would be given to the winners, runners-up and semi-finalists in
each categories.The finals will be played on Sunday followed by prize
distribution function. Siddharth Narnaware is the chief referee of the
tournament. He will be assisted by Mukund Nagpurkar.
