The secretary of Sports Journalists' Association of Nagpur (SJAN) Sandeep Dabhekar has been elected as the executive committee member of the Sports Journalists federation of India while Subodh Malla Barua (Assam Sports Journalists' Association) and A. Vinod (Kerala Sports Journalists' Association) were unanimously re-elected as the president and secretary respectively of the SJFI for the 2018-20 term.
