FORMER Indian pace bowler and current ICC match referee Javagal Srinath will grace the SJAN-Raisoni Achievers Sports Award Function organised by Sports Journalists’ Association of Nagpur (SJAN) in association with Raisoni Group at Scientific Hall, Laxminagar at 10 a.m.
Director of Raisoni Group V Gopalkrishnan will preside over. During the function Vidarbha spinner Akshay Wakhare, volleyball player Jayashri Thakre, budding basketball player Yash Gainkar, chess prodigy Mrudul Dehankar and noted sports organiser Sattar Ansari will be honoured. Katol’s Nabira Mahavidyalaya and city's Saraswati School will be honoured for promoting the sports.
Baidyanath Ayurved, Mahatma Gandhi High School, Centre Point School, Bank of Maharashtra and Deaven Dasture family are the co-sponsors of the event.
