The 16th Vicco- SJAN Inter Press Twenty-20 Cricket Tournament organised by Sports Journalists' Association of Nagpur (SJAN) will begin from January 29.
According to a press release issued by SJAN secretary Kishor Bagde this year SJAN has joined the hands with Vicco Laboratories as the main sponsor of the tournament. Motion is the co-sponsor. The matches will be played at Dr Ambedkar College ground and Vasant Nagar ground simultaneously. A souvenir named ‘CricMedia’ and schedule of the tournament will be released soon.
Attractive cash prizes will be given to the winners and runners-up. Apart from it, there will be individual prizes for man-of-the-match, man-of-the-series, best batsman, best bowler, best fielder, best wicket-keeper, centurions, hat-trick and five wicket haul.
Last year Lokmat emerged champion defeating The Times of India by nine runs. White balls sponsored by Shree Sports will be used in the tournament.
