CricMedi souvenir released
The 16th edition of Vicco-SJAN inter-press
T20 cricket tournament will begin on Wednesday, with defending
champions Lokmat taking on Sakal in the inaugural match at Dr Ambedkar
College ground at 9.30 am. At the same time, Punyanagari will take on
Tarun Bharat at Vasant Nagar ground.
The
inaugural function will be held at 9.00 am at Ambedkar College ground
under the gracious presence of former India player Prashant Vaidya,
Director of Motion Tutorials Pramod Walmandhare and Principal of Dr
Babasaheb Ambedkar College Dr Malti Reddy. Nine newspapers are
participating in the tournament that will conclude on February 15.
The tournament is being sponsored by Vicco Laboratires while Motion Tutorials are co-sponsors of the meet.
Earlier
on Tuesday, CricMedia, the annual souvenir of Sports Journalists
Association of Nagpur (SJAN) was released at a function held at SJAN's
office. Principal of Dhanwate National College and veteran sports
organiser Dr Babanrao Taywade, CMD of Tajshree Avinash Bhute and
director of Motion Tutorials Pramod Walmandre were the dignitaries
present on the occassion.
