By not agreeing to play their matches Times of India and Punyanagari showed how unsporting they are. They have bought disrepute to this grand tournament which has been played with a sporting spirit all these years. instead of forfeiting the game like timid they should have played and who knows, they could have won the matches too. The newspaper readers and cricket lovers who avidly followed the press tournament for all these years feel cheated by these unsporting teams. This is a great loss to sports lovers and moreover the torunament was being played in friendly and healthy atmosphere, it was a good time for all the press persons to unwind from the daily drag of work. by not willing to play TOI has invited ill-feelings and bad blood to this press tournament. The next tournament should exclude these two from participating.
