Pande fashions Punyanagari victory

Bhaskar win by ten wickets

In- form left-handed batsman Pankaj Pande smashed unbeaten 95 as Punyanagari defeated Sakal by 18 runs in OCW-SJAN Inter-Press Invitational T-20 Cricket Tournament organised by Sports Journalists' Association of Nagpur (SJAN) on Thursday.
At Ambedkar College ground batting first Punyanagari piled up 180 for 4. Pankaj Pande send Sakal bowlers on leather hunt and scored unbeaten 95 hitting 14 boundaries.  Ravi Daf too batted well and knocked off 63.
In reply, Sakal missed the target by 18 runs. Rajesh Vyavhare (59) and Om Dhakulkar (25) tried their best but in vain. For Punyanagari, Daf claimed three wickets.
At Vasant Nagar Dainik Bhaskar drubbed Loksatta-IE by ten wickets. Loksatta made 95 for 7. Dainik Bhaskar convincingly achieved the target in 8.4 overs without any damage. Rahul Thakur (59*) and Gaurav Shahu (23*) completed the formalities.

Today's matches: Lokmat vs Deshonnati at Ambedkar College 10.15 a.m. Lokshahi Varta vs Tarun Bharat at Vasant Nagar at 9.30 a.m.

Loksatta-IE: 95 for 7 in 20 overs (Harsheardhan Datir 32, Rajeshwar Thakre 25, Abhinav Fating 3 for 17, Bandu Dhore 2 for 18).
Bhaskar: 96 for no loss in 8.4 overs (Rahul Thakur 59*, Gaurav Shahu 23*).
Result: Bhaskar won by ten wickets.
