Lokhande takes Lokmat into final

Pravin Lokhande hammered unbeaten 49 and also claimed six wickets as Lokmat entered the final thrashing Lokshahi Varta by seven wickets in 19th OCW-SJAN Inter Press Cricket Tournament at Dr Ambedkar College ground on Friday.
The tournament has been organised by Sports Journalists' Associaiton of Nagpur (SJAN) in association with OCW and SBI. Batting first Lokshahi Varta were bundled out for a paltry 104 in 17 overs. Lokhande ripped through the batting line up and captured six wickets for 18. Sharad Mishra (3 for 6) also bowled well. For Lokshahi Vatra, openers Sandip Ganar (43) and Abhishek Kulkarni (22) gave them good start but other batsmen failed miserably.
In reply, after initial hiccups, Lokmat comfortably achieved the target in 12.3 overs losing three wickets. Thanks to Lokhande who slammed 28-ball 49 hitting 10 boundaries. Skipper Amit Khodke played a patient knock of 27 whereas Nitin Patariya, playing in his usual style,  knocked off 21 in 15 balls smashing two sixes and one boundary.
Girish Pandav of Sanmarg Shikshan Sanstha gave away man-of-the-match prize to Lokhande.
